Trip Prayer

Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you, Genesis 28: 15,16. Just at a moment as this is when our dreams and plans come to fruition. We realize taking a trip of a lifetime (at least for us) takes more than just knowing what to pack and which road to take. Leaving our family, friends and church for an extended period of time is no easy task. This is a dream that all four of us share. We have not because we ask not, James 4:2. We want prayer to be our main priority. We have done nothing to deserve this and know it is a gift and want to make every effort to honor God through it. Our desire is to be good stewards of the time that He is allowing us to see the magnificent beauty of His creation. Job 12:7-8 says,” But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky ,and they will tell you, or speak to the earth and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you.” There is much to learn through nature ,so we pray our eyes will be opened in a fresh way to see His majesty!

We will be coming in contact with new people everywhere we go; may the love of Christ be seen in us. When we stop along the way and worship on Sunday with fellow believers we pray that we continue to grow in the knowledge of the One who makes all things possible. Matt.19;26 ,JESUS! We also pray on this journey that we will be sensitive to His leading and will be used to make a positive reflection of Him.

We ask that those that read this will keep us in your prayers as we will be keeping you in ours.

  1. I think I’m finally following.
I need to see some pics of you going crazy in preparation: stock piles of food, your clothes that I know are already packed. 😉
