Dean’s Home/Studio

There is no way I can do this visit justice. Gregg and I decided to book this tour for today and it may very well be my favorite. Ranja and Jeffery Dean are artist who have only begun giving tours of their home , animals, studio, and property. We were 3rd tour and the only 2 in it (later than plan on having no less than 8 to a group). From the time Renja met us at the gate til we finished tea and homemade cookies in the cozy living room and listen to stories about growing up in Tennessee, it felt like be in a fairy tale. From her specially bred animals Yow, (Yak and Galloway)comb less chickens( combs freeze in winter) bronze sculptures , handmade house and furnitures, donkey saddles, quilts all these other buildings are for the animals  …need I go on? Oh, they also make the pack saddles for the donkeys.
