Great Sand Dunes National Park

It doesn’t look real does it? Cameo hopped and jumped at first but  soon grew tired. The wind was blowing so hard the sand stung. I just couldn’t resist taking off my shoes. Didn’t make it to the top, your feet sink to your ankle with each step but made it as far as we could go and stopped at top of one of the drifts for pictures. Gregg’s shoes were full of sand when we got back. Marcia wanted Wayne to carry her back to Monarch Pass so we’ll met back up with them later.

  1. One of my favorite places. Plan to return one day. Wish the wind hadn’t blown so hard for you. It can be very relaxing there.
