This is located in LaGrange, Georgia. John and Sherry Mayo let us in on this “jewel”. Dr. Fleming, an archaeologist spent over 30 years in Israel and was allowed to bring back and display over 250 artifacts. Our guide was beyond informative and really made the biblical life and story “come off the page”. Wayne said the most interesting to him was a look at the tree used to make the cross , it was very different than he imagined. Marcia said the comparison of how the sword piercing Jesus side was happening at the same time as the lambs were being sacrificed in temple at Passover celebration. Gregg and I both had not realized the group of people who were saying “Crucify Him” and the ones saying “Hosanna” ( which actually means to beg for deliverance) were two different people . This is a Very small sample of the things we learned. Oh, and no human ever went to heaven before Jesus. We finished off with a 12 course meal which was an “ eye opening “ experience on its’s own . Highly Reccomend it !!!!!
