Started out with another beautiful day. Already been to Lookout Mountain and Rock City in Chattanooga before so by passed them this time, we’re too anxious to get to PA. Did stop at a neat place to eat in Wytheville,VA called The Log House. It was built in 1776!!! Each and every room seemed to tell a beautiful story… the picture of the young girl holding yellow daffodils and blue iris, the antique booth to enjoy our meal in, and the old oil lamps. Could the wallpaper and carpet going up the stairs be original? Maybe not but it was certainly vintage. This was a place to slow down and relax. The garden was a dream, “Real “bunnies and doves cooing, reminding me of my grandmothers where I got my love for gardening.
