Natural Bridge, VA

Yesterday, we spent part of the afternoon at the Natural Bridge. It is made of solid grey limestone and 215 ft. high. In 1774 Thomas Jefferson bought the bridge and 157 acres for 20 shillings($2.40) from King George III. Really nice walk beside Cedar Creek to bridge and down further to waterfall. Welcome break from saddle sore car ride.
