Vietnam Veterans Memorial & Taos, New Mexico

It was cool this morning 49. Went to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. That’s where I got the shots of the hummingbirds. They got within inches of me. Next was the Rio Grande Gorge. It just seemed to show up from no where. Taos was a true New Mexico town even the Mc Donald’s and Walmart were Adobe. The town was really neat, filled with lots of shops of local art and places to eat. We went to Kit Carson home, that guy was a true frontier man. It got up to 84 while we there. Oh and everywhere we have gone has been very pet friendly( even the restaurants will serve your dog water). As we headed back to Eagles Nest the temperature steadily dropped and was 67 when got back with a light rain. There are prairie dogs barking? everywhere. You’ve heard people say” I did it cause I could ” before? Well I guess that was the thought this horse had with both back feet in the tub. Oh, and live music 🎼 tonight at the campground. It was a wonderful day!
