Sunday services at Eagle Nest Baptist

when we got out of our truck the pastor was standing outside and yelled “Praise the Lord”. There were 66 people and 2 dogs 🐕 there. (All over the age of 60 and No children) We sang At the Cross, Revive us Again, and Just a Closer Walk with Thee. The pastor and his wife were 2 of the 5 leading praise with 2 guitars and a set of drums. Everyone wore cowboy boots and Not the square toe kind but the working kind. The message was on repentance and It Was Good! Before we left we circled the sanctuary and held hands and sang I’m so glad I’m a Part of the Family of God. Still missed Bro. Mike’s message and the folks back home , though we have consistently found churches everywhere we go ,that love the Lord. Washer toss and free ice cream back at the camp. ( Gregg and I won even if our competition was two young boys) Have met great camp host and Pat and Dave and other couple David and Phyllis who were Texas Aggies like Gregg. Ended our day with a hike in Angel Fire on Elk Trail.
