Float trip down the Rio Grande

Issac took us down the Rio Grande today. He was a young guy that was very knowledgeable about the local history. His house doesn’t have water. He hauls it in. I’m still trying to wrap my head around that one. It was basically peaceful with a few rapids. The water level was pretty low. Since I’m the only person in the world who can’t swim, I hung on for dear life when he wasn’t making us paddle. Maria had homemade salsa , chips and cold watermelon waiting on us when we got back. Pilar is on the other side of Taos and very arid. The temperature was 92 degrees. Issac said staying on other side of the mountains in Eagle’s Nest is what they call their winter home. Temperature there was 71. Little over an hour away but huge temperature difference!!!

P.S. I went back and fixed my typos after publishing and discovered once you download, it doesn’t correct. Sorry!
