Just noticed this post never was published. The date was actually Oct. 22. Met Governor Rick Scott of Florida. Helped and worked beside some really wonderful people. Learned a Cambro is the container prepared food goes into, to be delivered. Clams are styrofoam takeout containers. ERV’s ( Emergency Rescue Vehicle) are the Red Cross vehicles that deliver the meals. Always, wear your gloves and keep that pot stirred.
It was a truly a blessing to serve. Headed back Nov. 4 to serve again.
