Headed out every morning about 8:30. Temperature has been in the 40’s. Raining which is usually a normal accurance but has

been rare lately. Went to Heidelburg Castle. It was massive and beautiful overlooking the village below.
We ate at Gasse’s and had Maultaschen ( a dumpling of egg , spinach, and ground round. Our dessert was Flan. It was surprising delicious. The streets are immaculate here, the air feels clean , swans are floating in the river with us and there are reflections caused by puddles and lamppost on the streets.
We’ve had to learn that the locals don’t rush their meals , it’s a time of relaxation , visiting with family and friends and savoring every bite. Most buy their meals every day at the local markets, eat healthy, ride bicycles and live simply. I envy many things about this side of the world.

I love the smoochie pic. β€οΈ
So glad you and Gregg got to enjoy this experience! Canβt wait to hear more about it.
