The park has had over 500% more snow than normal this year. The grass is lush and the animals do not seem to have suffered from the winter. The elk , big horn sheep and turkeys look well nourished.

I read this somewhere. Look for one verse I can savor word by word, letting it sink in deeply — interrupting me, rearranging me, redirecting me.
1John 3:1 See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!
I looked up LAVISHED in Greek. It means ; in abundance, to bestow profusely.
How can we comprehend or measure or compare this great love? It surpasses anything I can imagine. We do belong and are His family. Holding on to this truth isn’t easy in this world but He is my Father, I can trust Him, I can find my identity in Him.
Help me realize as much as my mind can ,what this verse means, and to come , rest and abide in You our Father who so “lavishly” loves us.
