This church was 101 years old. I think the piano was too. Sweet fellowship and wonderful message. Ms. Gwen told us the pastor had just passed away and the service was the day before. ( Ms. Gwen reminded me of Ms. Edna if you read yesterday’s post ๐)

is a big scary dog in there. It was very dark in the center.

These pictures are not crooked. The town is very hilly( is that a word?)
This is a mining โ town. They had to dig hard and deep to reach silver and later copper. Then it had to be smelted , (put through the fire) to separate the copper out.
The christian walk is a lot like this. We must dig into the word to glean the Truth then we are refined with the heat (the circumstances in life we learn from) and will be seen as we truly are. 1Corthians 3:12-13If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each personโs work.
