We had about given up on seeing a moose and then one was spotted. Wayne and Gregg went in to the woods after it. Scared us but they did get some great pictures. Gregg and I walked up to Alpine Ridge Trail. Top of moutain IMG_7612to watch thunder clouds roll in.

  1. Been there many times..my fav place in the world!! Have you driven up The Poudre Canyon just above Fort Collins? There is a full service campground called Home Moraine…we had friends who ran it…Mrs. Reevis might still be there..she is about 90 now…..lots of points to see from there..its right on the river..also The South Fork Trail is lovely to hike…
